Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Director – Operations and Development, the successful candidate will oversee daily activities related to the preservation and maintenance of residential and commercial properties.
Responsabilities :
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems (plumbing, electricity, heating, etc.).
- Perform minor work: painting, plastering, carpentry, floor repairs, door adjustments, landscaping and planting, etc.
- Repair and maintain HVAC systems, household appliances, electrical and sanitary installations.
- Maintain inventories and make necessary purchases.
- Keep intervention records up to date.
- Keep technical areas clean and safe.
- Perform repairs and refurbishments in rental accommodation and common areas.
- Install lighting fixtures, change smoke detectors, and renovate cabinets and countertops.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and projects.

Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Good practical knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and electricity.
- Very good knowledge of technological environments and commonly used software.
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Valid driving licence and personal car.
